We quote an average saving of £2,400 per year for the businesses we work with. Here's exactly how we arrive at that figure — because trust starts with transparency.
Averages get thrown around a lot in this industry. We don't believe in round numbers plucked from thin air. Our £2,400/year figure is built from real, completed cases — every business we've helped, every contract we've compared, and every saving we've delivered. Below is the method we use, applied consistently every time we publish an updated figure.
We look at every business we've helped switch or renew their energy contract — not a selected sample. Every completed comparison forms part of our dataset.
For each case we capture the business's previous annual energy spend — the amount they were paying before we acted on their behalf.
We add together the new annual cost we negotiated for each business across the dataset, giving us the combined cost after our intervention.
The difference between the previous combined spend and the new combined cost represents the total savings delivered to our clients.
We divide the total savings by the number of businesses in the dataset, producing a true average saving per client — currently £2,400/year.

We re-run this calculation every six months, adding new completed cases and removing any that no longer reflect current market conditions. This keeps the figure honest, current, and representative of the businesses we're helping today — not a snapshot from years ago.
